Counted Out screening highlights the importance of math
A panel representing Oregon’s Secretary of State, the Center for Black Excellence, and Pacific University dove into the value of math and themes from the documentary film, Counted Out.

City of Beaverton helps grow BEF after-school programming
After school programs build stronger connections at school among students, teachers and families. Thanks to a social services grant from the City of Beaverton, BEF will be expanding after-school programming for English Language Learners in Beaverton elementary schools.
