Beaverton Education Foundation Has Moved!
Beaverton, Oregon – The Beaverton Education Foundation has now moved into its new office on the ground floor of the BG Plaza in downtown Beaverton. "Our move enables the Foundation to be further engaged with the community of Beaverton as well as the all of the schools," announces Executive Director Kristine Baggett. "Many of our new neighbors have a strong connection to the public schools in Beaverton and recognize the great value to our community in strong public education."

The building is owned and managed by the well-known Beavertonians, the Biggi family. "The Biggi Family is pleased to be able to show our support for the Beaverton Education Foundation. The Beaverton School District has educated 2 generations of our family and is presently educating a third generation, shared Gene Biggi. “By welcoming BEF to our diverse small business community at BG Plaza, not only do we hope to involve more of the community’s awareness of the special programs that the Beaverton Education Foundation supports in the district, but it also serves to be a central location in the heart of the school district with year round, 24 hour access, which is an ideal situation for the staff and volunteers to be able to serve our schools. It’s exciting to be able to give back to an organization whose goal is to enrich the education of our future citizens,” offered Mr. Biggi.
"Our motivation for moving was to have enough space for the staff to be in the same space, work more closely with the community and continue to establish the Beaverton Education Foundation as an independent community-based nonprofit organization that works to improve public education in Beaverton“ said Baggett.
The Beaverton Education Foundation’s move was made possible with generous support from the Beaverton School District and its many departments and individuals including: Community Involvement, Facilities, Information Technology, Purchasing and the Superintendent’s Office, The Oregon Clinic – West Hills Gastroenterology and BG Plaza and the Biggi Family.
