Support Oregon’s Culture and Receive a Tax Credit
Investing in Oregon’s culture has never been easier. To encourage your gift, the state of Oregon offers a 100% tax credit for your contribution. – a dollar for dollar reduction of your Oregon state income tax liability. For every dollar you give to a non-profit promoting culture, like the BEF, you can make a matching contribution to the Oregon Cultural Trust for a 100% tax credit.

How to Give:
- Make a contribution to BEF. (You can also support more than one
arts organization).
- Make a matching contribution to the Oregon Cultural
Trust. Visit: www.culturaltrust.org for a list of qualifying
organizations or to donate on-line or by mail.
- Claim your 100% tax credit when you file your Oregon tax return – up to $500 for individuals, $1000 for couples filing jointly or $2,500 for Oregon corporations.
The Oregon Cultural Trust partners with the Oregon Arts and Oregon Heritage Commissions, the Oregon Council for the Humanities, the Oregon Historical Society and the State Historic Preservation Office. It supports every aspect of Oregon’s Culture, promoting county and tribal cultural activities, historic preservation, tours by the Portland Opera, Eugene Ballet and children’s authors. Many BEF programs fund arts and cultural programs. In addition, BEF supports high school activities such as theatre, dance, band, and choir.
