Fall 2013 BEF Classroom Innovation Grants

Teachers, counselors, and all staff are encouraged to apply for the first round of 2013-2014 BEF Classroom Innovation Grants of $500 to $1,000 for studentengaged projects that enrich and encourage classroom innovation.

Application deadline – September 3, 2013

To apply, please use the Fall 2013 BEF Classroom Innovation Grant application. The scoring guide used by the BEF Grant Committee, Frequently Asked Questions, and BEF Classroom Innovation Grant projects funded in the past are available on the BEF website to assist you.

An additional pool of funds is available to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics through the BEF Building STEAM 4 All program and the Dave Gettling Technology Fund. There is also funding available through The Spirit of New Seasons Market Award Fund for projects that fit the core New Seasons Market philosophy. Funds will be awarded through the BEF Classroom Innovation Grant process.

Submit applications to the Beaverton Education Foundation via interschool mail, or to the BEF office, 3800 SW Cedar Hills Blvd., Suite 168, Beaverton, OR 97005. If you are submitting your application close to the deadline date, handdeliver the application to the District Central office main reception area or the BEF office to ensure that it is received on time. Applications must be received by 4:30pm on the deadline date. Applications received after the deadline date will not be accepted.
