2012 BEF Kids Count Grant
The Beaverton Education Foundation (BEF) encourages Beaverton School District staff to apply for funding for summer or after-school programs that provide students with tutoring and/or enrichment opportunities that enhance learning. BEF Kids Count Grants are program grants of $5,000 to $10,000.
Applicants are required to submit a BEF Intent to File form by February 29, 2012 to be eligible to apply for a BEF Kids Count Grant.
To apply, please download and use the 2012 BEF Kids Count Grant application. The scoring guide, used by the grant decision committee, and Frequently Asked Questions page, are available to assist you.

- BEF Kids Count Grants announced the week of April 16th.
Submit applications to the Beaverton Education Foundation via interschool mail, or to the BEF office, 3800 SW Cedar Hills Blvd., Suite 168, Beaverton, OR 97005. If you are submitting your application on the deadline week, hand deliver the application to the District Central office main reception area, or BEF office to ensure that your application is received on time. Applications must be received by the deadline date. Applications received after the deadline date will not be accepted. In addition to submitting hard copies, e-mail an electronic copy to: info@beavertonEDfoundation.org
Middle Schools are not eligible to apply as they receive funding for after-school programs through the BEF Middle School Extended Day Award Program.

An additional pool of funds is available to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics, through the BEF Building STEAM 4 All program, and the Dave Gettling Technology Fund. Funds will be awarded through the BEF Classroom Innovation Grant process.
