Community Partnerships Supporting BEF

Many local businesses work with BEF to support Beaverton students. The BEF Community Partner Program recognizes the value of a strong education. Through combined support of our local leaders, we encourage parents, educators and students alike to support our local businesses. We can all invest locally and reap the rewards of making a meaningful impact on the more than 41,000 students and the 53 schools.  Together, we are building a vibrant local economy, and a community that values and supports our current and future workforce and business leaders.

Shop, dine, or participate in a special program, all to support our students. Our Community Partners:

  • New Season Markets: (Cedar Hills Crossing, Progress Ridge and Raleigh Hills) generously donated $28,896 to BEF during the last academic year through Cans for Kids. Simply place your recyclable cans and bottles in the Cans for Kids bin to support Beaverton students.
  • Golden Valley Brewery & Restaurant – 3rd Tuesday of the month:  Since 2012, Golden Valley’s BEF 3rd Tuesday has generated $18,500 for BEF programs.  Last year alone raised $3,681!  Enjoy Golden Valley Brewery & Restaurant’s handcrafted beers, and fresh, local foods every 3rd Tuesday for BEF Night from 6-10pm and they will contribute 10% of sales to the Foundation. Golden Valley Brewery & Restaurant: 1520 NW Bethany Blvd • Beaverton, OR 97006
  • Beaverton Bakery: Need a treat for your child or the whole office? Pick up the Beaverton Bakery special cookie, baked just for BEF, and available daily. $1.00 of the proceeds for each cookie are donated to the Foundation; last year you raised $584.  That’s a lot of cookies!  Beaverton Bakery: 12375 SW Broadway • Beaverton, OR 97005
  • Fred Meyer Rewards Card: Re-enroll and/or sign up and help BEF earn donations just by shopping with your Fred Meyer Rewards Card!  Our community earned $1,144 in 2017, and we know we can earn more together.  Here’s how the program works:
    • Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Beaverton Education Foundation at www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards.
    • Search for us by our name or by our non-profit number 85061.
    • Then, every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you are helping Beaverton Education Foundation earn a donation!
    • You still earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points, and Rebates, just as you do today.
    • If you do not have a Rewards Card, they are available at the Customer Service desk of any Fred Meyer store.
    • Next time you shop, check the bottom of your receipt to see if BEF is YOUR charity of choice. For more information, please visit www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards
  • AmazonSmile:  Select BEF as your charity of choice.  Sign in to https://smile.amazon.com on your desktop or mobile phone browser.  From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, click on “Shopping Programs and Rentals”, then select the option to Change your Charity. Or, from your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page.  From there, choose “pick your own charitable organization” and type Beaverton Education Foundation.  Just by registering BEF and using the smile.amazon.com link every time you shop, supporters like you raised $737 last year.
